It doesn’t always happen! Don’t focus on it and you probably won’t notice it! Babies just go through changes in their sleep ALL the time, just go with the flow and they’ll probably not even last!x
It’s a biological change that happens at 4 Months. All babies have this change HOWEVER, some are not affected at all. Both of my daughters weren’t affected by it
@Lauren this gives me hope my little boy won't go through it - it's already difficult with his day time naps
With my first it was like the leaps - fussier, more crying, wouldn't settle as usual... Basically made me feel helpless 🥴 We just pushed through it.
Also it doesn't happen just at 4 months it can vary from baby to baby from 3-5months. Then again around 7-9m and 12+
You basically need to teach them how to sleep again so they may wake up more because they can’t settle back down and be harder to get to sleep for naps and bedtime. It’s a developmental stage - not all babies go through it, some miss it xx
