Hello baby boy 🩵

Anyone else been told they have an anterior placenta? If so how much do you overthink about your baby’s movements 😂

Also have an anterior placenta and yesss I over think the movements all the time.

I’m at 38 weeks with an anterior. Took longer to feel the movements and still can’t feel directly at the front but could feel her own lathers and movements downs low and round the sides. Feel her loads now she’s big. You’ll find what’s normal for you x

I have an anterior placenta again and definitely oberthink movements

Me too. I’m 21+3 and haven’t felt anything yet 🥺

@Eleanor so hard isn’t it, your mind goes into overdrive! 🤦🏽‍♀️

@Carla amazing! So good to hear, and something to look forward too 🥰

@Hannah we’re get there! I have the odd twinge here and there but my mind overthinks all the time 😬

@M glad I’m not the only one!! 🫶🏼

I was told at my anatomy scan the other day that I've got an anterior placenta. I wasn't expecting it at all because I've felt flutters since 15 weeks, and kicks for the last couple. But I don't feel them more central around my belly button. They did say that my placenta was positioned top front. I wonder I that's why baby still have space where I'm feeling them, and some parts where I don't?

@Charlotte this is same as me felt kicks since 16 weeks and she is really strong with her kicks i feel like i sometimes feel them more than i did with my first baby but at my 20 week scan i was told i could struggle feeling movement but so far no issues

Yes I do and I’ve become an over thinker recently. My midwife said it’s fine and your movements are what’s normal for you but when I go from lots of movements to less I really worry. My first wasn’t anterior so I end up comparing.

I had an anterior placenta with my first but it's posterior this time and I have really noticed the difference this time. Movements are much stronger so it definitely does cushion them when it's anterior. Don't overthink it ☺️ that said if you feel anything is ever off always best to get checked out just in case xx

I have one as well and I definitely overthink his movements all the time 😭 I feel him more round the sides and down below. He’s slowly starting to get his little pattern of movement now

All 3 times for me oldest is 9, middle 5 baby is 1. You feel movements and I paid attention to it but appts gave me better relief

I’m 20+3 and only just felt the first little kicks on the outside today
