I was 3 weeks postpartum. Healed well after a tear and had stopped bleeding so felt ready x

I was just under 4 weeks. We were both scared and felt a bit odd. Left it another week and we tried again and was more normal - and couldn’t feel anything pulling. Think it’s more anxiety doing it for the first time personally!

I'm 2 weeks PP and had a tear. The stitches are still in so I'm waiting till they fall off. That's the advice, right? It's a bit scary though

Still only 2 weeks, planning to wait until 6 weeks. What’s everyone doing for contraception? I used natural cycles before we started trying but I feel like that isn’t really an option now with no periods lol! I’d like to just use condoms but I’ve tried that in the past and both of us don’t really like them so I worry we’d get sloppy and not use them.

@Kathryn same!! So we just use pull out method 🫣 I’ve stopped BF now so hopefully periods will come back regular

@Kathryn we are using condoms and “being careful” until he gets a vasectomy! Which could be a while

I’m 4 weeks pp tomorrow and still bleeding a bit so waiting for it to stop, but otherwise I feel ready. I had no stitches or tears luckily

Waiting for the 6 weeks the doctor recommended following the C-section. My mind feels very ready though! Think I would have felt differently if it was a vaginal birth with tears etc…

@Kathryn we did condoms after our first and 8m later….our march baby was conceived😂 I’m thinking coil this time

@Nicole oh god this is what I am afraid of. Today I started thinking if I should get the coil. I had it once a long time ago and it let me down, I got pregnant and ended up having an abortion since I was really young. So I’m a bit traumatised by that but equally I don’t want hormonal contraception. It’s so annoying!!

Im 3 weeks today, and I really want to but I’m nervous. We have done anything but penetration at this point. I still have the tiniest bit of stitches but now pain…. I feel like they are never going to fall out 😣 Anytime we’ve thought about sex I get anxious before he enters

Nope, I’m 5 and half weeks postpartum, had an episiotomy healed really well but now I’ve just started my period 😅
