It can hit at any time.
My feel like I got ppd after I stopped nursing my second, and he was 8 months at the time
I’m so sorry you’re going through such a rough time mama 🤍 PPD is no joke! It takes our bodies around 3 years to settle and recover from pregnancy and childbirth. So it is very possible it could be postpartum affecting you. Please feel free to dm me if you’d like to chat or vent!
I don’t think it’s PPD however I do believe it might be Depression for sure. The lack of support, no sleep, same routine and same 4 walls over and over again , it can really get to you. I’ve been there myself, until quite recently and my boy is nearly 3. It’s okay to reach out to specialists for help, especially your health visitor. They do much more than you think, for both mums and their babies. They are there to support you alongside of your GP that can help with any medications or referrals you might need, it’s okay to ask for help. I was always scared because I thought that my son would be taken away from me, but in reality that’s not how it works, and they have been the most helpful people I’ve ever met and they still support me when needed. It’s okay to be scared to ask for support , it is a big step, but it really is worth it and you’ll feel much much much better with no time 🤗 I’m always here if you’d like to talk as well! If I can help in any way I can, I will 🙂
