Pain a month after c section

Just wondering if it's normal to still be needing painkillers (paracetamol and ibuprofen) a month after my csection? I feel like from others I've spoken to it might not be? I'm definitely taking less now but I still get quite sore at times and need a top up. Should I be feeling less pain by this point?

I'm just over 6 weeks PP and I still sometimes take paracetamol, everyone's different and there's no right or wrong amount of time to need pain relief ♡

Yes. I still take medication one some days. And I’m almost 2 months pp

I think it all depends on you as a person as well as how well the surgery went. I had some complications of previous scar tissue that they struggled to get through to get to baby so my whole belly below my belly button is currently bruised and tended due to the tugging they had to do to get him out. I’ve just finished my 5days of stronger pain relief but they have said if I need more to contact my gp. Some days are better than others and if you over do it you will be more sore x

I ended up with 10 days of the stronger painkillers then paracetamol and ibro for defo at least 8 weeks. I'm 6 months pp this week and although I no longer need painkillers still experience some pain mainly in bed or after doing lifting etc xx

Im 4 weeks pp tomorrow and still going between co codomol and diclofenac every few hours
