Stitches
I had an episiotomy when giving birth about 8 weeks ago. I’m healing fine but noticed I seems to get more irritated down there. Such as when I wear sanitary towels and tight underwear and clothes. I’ve still not had sex yet as scared it will be sore. Anyone else been feeling different down there? Not sure if I have a hint of thrush (sorry for the TMI)

I’m the exact same! Tight clothes like pants and jeans make me super uncomfortable and if I walk too much it ends up kind of swollen? I’m 9 weeks pp and my stitches opened and I ended up with infections so I’m sure that has a lot to do with it but I’m definitely feeling the same! X
I have exactly the same feeling! I’m hoping to get it checked out at our 8 week GP appointment. It’s strange - wasn’t expecting it to feel like this once healed!
My stitches opened up so I’m waiting for gynea to now see me. So it’s very uncomfortable when I’m walking sometimes now

Hey! I feel it different as well. Especially from tight underwear. Other than that, feels fine. Sec was ok, scared the first time, but was fine. It’s a sensitive area. Takes time to feel normal, even if it healed.
