Planned c section, but ouch!

I was uncomfortable but didn't find it as painful as I expected to. To be fair though I was carrying over 13lb of twins before my section so I think anything was more comfortable in comparison!!

I really struggled with my recovery! Think I must have a low pain threshold as my brothers family all had sections (8 nieces and nephews) and they were all like oh I was up walking same day and by the end of the week felt pretty normal 😅 where as I struggled bad for weeks! Really took the shine of that newborn stage as my husband did most stuff for our baby for the first month tbh xx

Be on the pain meds, if you’re staying in hospital for whatever reason, sometimes they can actually forget to bring medication on time. Anytime you need medication or something you press that buzzer

For me personally I found recovery really simple midwifes had to tell me to slow down as I was sitting on the floor and getting back up again myself within 3 days after with ease.
