Dried blood, stitching, spacing which appears “dark”. Mine looked horrific for a while but now it’s barely noticeable. If you’re concerned, chat with your GP 🩵

It depends really! Mine got infected (it’s very common due to the location) and it took about 2-3 months to look better
@Lucy I see! When it gets infected, does it impact your ability to move around and feel better?
Personally, not ever so. I didn’t struggle with my mobility - I stayed on top of my pain relief and knew that the more I moved around (being mindful of course), the quicker my recovery may be. It was just a tad bit more painful when it got infected and it’s not very pleasant but I caught it early!
Mine's is purple/brown, I'm 3 weeks PP too. I wonder if if depends on skin tone as well, I haven't seen redness as such but that may be due to my darker skin tone. Mine's got infected 😓 so maybe that affects overall appearance too.
