Pulling on and off breast
My baby will be 4 weeks this week. Today for quite a few of her feeds she will pull on and off the breast. She will cry when the milk comes out but also cry if I take her off the boob. I have quite a fast letdown but she has been able to cope with this fine all this time and I feed in positions to help combat the fast letdown. Is anyone else baby doing this? Is this what they call cluster feeding?

I have a quick let down too! With my baby iv found if I hand express or pump for a minute or two to get my let down then attach her she's happier! Or sometimes a burp then put back on seems to fix it too 🙂
@Daniela Whenever I try to pump before feeding my baby she gets so hysterical as she wants to feed right then and there 😭.

Sounds like cluster feeding! They seem to act like they don’t get enough milk but they are. It’s just their way of stimulating more. They also act fussy at the nipple sometimes. I have fast letdown too and I always notice after a big cluster feed that she struggles with the extra supply initially then it levels off again z
