I had a home birth with my first in October 2024 with UHL. It was the most amazing experience and the midwife team incredible. If you're low risk and are considering it, I absolutely recommend it. Feel free to message me. I love talking about my positive birth story x
I haven’t, but my sister did in august (1st baby) and I was one of her birthing partners and after having 3 babies myself (all in hospital) none of them were half as relaxing or comfortable as hers. The midwives were so present without being intrusive and I feel like they listened to her and didn’t rush or push her into any decisions which let her be in as much control as possible before, during and after. It was just SO CALM. Being able to be in her own home afterwards I feel made the bonding experience amazing for her and it overall seemed like so much less faff and panic than a hospital birth. On her behalf, I know she would have another one and would recommend.(if you are a low risk pregnancy too) It was a beautiful experience 🥹
Both mine were home births. First one was a late change of mind after they came to my yogabellies class. Give them a call and they can come out for a chat with you to help you decide
I planned home birth with my 2, unfortunately due to circumstances out of our control I had to go into hospital. All was well but it was precaution. I honestly adore the home birth team, I’d choose them over and over again. Such a wonderful team, you feel heard, taken care of and it just feels so personal and lovely! You won’t regret it🥰🩷
I’ve had a home birth and a hospital birth and would always choose the home birth again. Wouldn’t go anywhere near the hospital again!
I had a home birth, and it was my first baby and I was considered low risk. I would highly highly recommend it, the uhl home birth team are absolutely fab. You can message me if you have any questions.
