Periods and breastfeeding??
I just had my baby March 5th and I’m breastfeeding I’m 6 weeks pp now. I stopped postpartum bleeding around 4-5 weeks pp. I just started bleeding dark brown like the beginning of a period. Is it too soon for it to come back?? I really don’t want a period 😭 I’m barely making enough breast milk as is and ik it tanks your supply. Has this happened to anyone?? Could it be more postpartum bleeding??

This happened to me with my first baby but I don’t believe it was actually a period. Just that the bleeding came back temporarily. I think this because I didn’t get another period until 7 or 8 months postpartum.
This is my second time pp . My period came back at 6 weeks both times, and both kids are EBF
Yea I had my baby march 5 and this has happened to me as well I think this is the real period lol but my supply hasn’t changed at all

I was exclusively breastfeeding for over 2 years and I got my period around that time I believe, it didn’t hurt my supply but definitely got it regularly after the first one. Everyone is different.
