I get it everyday even if all I had is water 😂 I use Wonder Belly’s, the strawberry milkshakes are delicious and it’s all clean ingredients. OB said to take Prilosec, but I’m trying to avoid taking anything. I’m used to it now, but it’s brutal!!
It is not fun! Peptac/gaviscon, rennies. Small things like eating slowly, small frequent meals and not lying down after eating helped. Ginger tea can help as well. Or as someone else said ginger biscuits.
Milk can actually make it worse in the long run as does ginger for some people (me included). The only thing that worked for me was taking omeprazole from the GP. You can buy esomeprozole over the counter but it’s not as good.
I got prescribed omeprazole And it changed my life. I also take gaviscon before bed or after a heavy meal x
Omeprazole, like above it was honestly life changing. It was horrendous during pregnancy, I couldn’t even move when I had it, it hurt to breathe, nothing worked, after pregnancy it continued but to the point of then throwing up, as soon as I went on medication it stopped!

I’ve tried & tested the majority of home remedies without much luck 😂 Have to watch my diet at the moment; spicy & oily food tends to trigger the heartburn more. Would recommend ginger ale, ginger biscuits & apples 🫶🏻
