Pjs, toiletries, clothes for baby to go home in, a pacifier if you want your baby on a specific one, something to go home in, snacks
And a long charger
Highly suggest bringing your own pads . Swaddle blanket. Shower stuff/ shower cap HAIR TIES / CLIP Underwear for said diaper pads Comfy pants / biker shorts to wear after Nurse friendly tops Nursing bra Socks ! / sandals Extra long charger Snacks (do not forget this part you will regret ) A pillow you like Y’all might think I’m wild for this one but I tried so hard to have my hair be clean around my due date and curled so it would just stay looking good while I was in the hospital and it worked with my last baby.
Snacks, Jammie’s, baby outfit, toothbrush, charger. That is it.
First time i packed a suitcase, this time it’s a backpack lol. i’m packing my own diapers that i know fit, frida peri bottle, tucks pads, lanolin nipple cream, silverettes, nursing bra, dress, maternity shorts, 2 onesies for baby, announcement sign and clothes, 1 swaddle, mini fan, daily essentials (deodorant, brush, etc), pacifier, chargers, and a boppy. this is obviously for a normal vaginal birth with intention to breastfeed. My hospital supplies a pump, pads, dermoplast, daily essentials, shower essentials, baby diapers, blankets, pillows, peanut balls, peri bottles/diapers/lanolin (i just prefer the shape/fit of mine). I’d ask your dr what the hospital offers and go from there :) I also know this time around I don’t care for the fancy birthing gowns and calm down techniques. I’m good with a peanut ball, a bra, and a cold washcloth lol
