My son has 2 bottom teeth since 5 1/2-6mo months 🤦🏻‍♀️but just recently started yhe biting. He will nurse and then when he is about done he starts to pop off and look around, then grab and when he goes back to suck he will and shortly take a bite with a smile 🤦🏻‍♀️ I take a finger and pull him off and just say “no biting” “all done” Lucky enough he isn’t biting down super hard but they are two little sharp teeth

I pop her mouth off (like a fish hook) and sternly say no and stop nursing for a bit.

Ok this might sound kinda mean but I promise it is not and it works. When they bite, gently flick their lip and tell them no in a firm voice. Do not flick hard, just enough to get their attention. After one to three times, they usually stop. Another thing that helps is telling them no sternly and immediately ending the breastfeeding session when they bite. After a few times, they realize if they bite, they do not get milk, and they stop because they want that milk. Babies are smart and they learn quick once you show them cause and effect. It just takes a little patience and being consistent.
