Baby crying in sleep and waking up
Sometimes my baby boy is fast asleep then does a loud cry, wakes himself up then once he is awake he stops? I am holding him while this happens so maybe that’s why he stops when he wakes up as he knows I’m there.
Could this just be because while he’s asleep he doesn’t realise I’m there? Or is he having a mini nightmare 😭 I could sob thinking that he’s having a nightmare!

Sounds like it could be some trapped wind. Have you noticed he passes wind or does a poo shortly after? I think babies do that when they have a bit of discomfort in their tummies x
