Give me your sleep schedule, I don’t know what I’m doing but he’s up every hour/2. We have a good routine but not sure if naps are influencing nighttime

I'm no expert and completely winging mum life day in day out, but my little one wakes up around 6am, has his first nap around 9am which we cap at 45 mins max and then has a long, lunch time nap 1ish-3ish. He goes to bed at 6:30pm, we normally wake him and dream feed him at 10:30pm and then he NORMALLY sleeps through until 6. We've only had a couple of nights in the last 3 months where this hasn't been the case and this has been when he has been poorly. ❤️

My boy wakes between 6-7 and has his nap between 9-10 (1-1hr15) and then second nap usually around 2-2:30 (1-1hr15) goes to bed at 7 - no night wakes

Solidarity. I feel like our sleep is a mess and this is my second baby so feel I should have it more sorted by now 🤣. I honestly don’t think it’s anything you do or don’t do is what Iv decided as both have been patented exactly the same, and this one just won’t sleep. Our sleep schedule is as follows; Wakes- between 6am and 7am Nap1- between 9/10am depending on wake time and always for exactly 30 minutes… Nap 2- about 2pm, wakes after 30 minutes and I will usually then hold her until she has had at least at hour- 1.5 hours. Bedtime- between 7 and 8 Wakes 11.30on and 3.30am for a feed , sometimes more. Self settles in cot for nighttime sleep. Naps are driving me crazy! Don’t understand why they won’t extend!

I thought I’d give my advice as my son sleeps through the night in this routine from 5 months, goes to sleep 9-10pm (what helps me every time in having him sat on my lap and rocking side to side works a charm for him) then put him in a sleep suit 1.5 tog in 20° room temp, I use the mom cozy wn03 noise machine on the setting that’s meditation type music (I can get the exact setting if you want just ask!) or womb sounds on Spotify work for me too but make your speakers bad from using it all night so the noise machine is better and we’ve now moved on to it for that reason and keep it on full volume all night if baby wakes up leave for 5/10 mins if still not settling pat bum back to sleep or whatever works for him but don’t feed him (if formula fed I don’t know how it works for breast feeding) but my son has 3x 240 mls during day and 3 small meals too so he doesn’t wake up for feed during night hurt stirs on the odd night and then he sleeps through from 9/10pm to 7:30/8am

I don’t know if any of that helps but that’s what works for us so might be something in there to try and use to see if it may work for your baby too :)) x

Nap wise during the day he wakes up for day at 7:30ish am has breakfast and first milk then goes nap at about 10am has milk at 12/1pm second nap around 2ish has lunch may have another nap 4ish if other two weren’t long and still tired has dinner 6pm then last milk 8:30/9pm and sleep and in bed for 9:30/10pm but honestly the momcozy noise machine is amazing and a LIFE SAVER so please ask and I can give you full details for it and which setting has worked for us and Also I would recommend just sticking it out if your trying a new thing as much as you may loose abit more sleep for a couple nights whist baby adjusts just give it a few days before ruling something out! X

^^ naps are always for about half hour never longer than 2 hours in one nap they should be having about 3 hours max of naps during the day any less than that shouldn’t be influencing night sleeps! Honestly try noice machine during night and black out blinds and see if that helps (trial for a few nights before ruling it out as can take a few nights for baby to adjust) 🫶🏼x
