Yep! Absolutely riddled. Had physio last week - exercises making it worse. Using a crutch which is helping slightly

This is my second time with it. I do 12 hr shifts and wear my belt from physio for those but just finished 3 nights in a row and literally in so much pain! I’ve been offered the crutches but unsure how I’d do my shifts with them and also run about after my 2 year old xx

I was literally about to come on here and post this exact thing because why am I suddenly in so much pain and already waddling 😫 The only way I get relief is going on all fours - I’ve ordered a support belt and hoping that might help me because this is not fun 🙏🏼

Yes this is my 3rd time with it. Each pregnancy it’s gotten worse. The belt does nothing for me - I think it’s cuz it can’t get placed properly due to my overhang apron belly

Yes!! I’m 23 weeks today and it only seems to be getting worse, dreading the next few months xx

@Rachel ohh really! 😢 yeah they do say it gets worse each time. The belt only helps me a little during my shifts. But just really struggling and feel like it’s also very mentally challenging also 😢 Just worried about when I’m going to have to come off work

@Gemma I’ve not tried all fours, might give that a go tonight and going to finally get my ball out the loft so hopefully that helps too!

@Rhiann me too! I had to come off at 30 weeks the last time with PGP and worried that I won’t even make it to that this time

Yep! Had it bad with my first, and getting it now with my second. I hate it so much 😭

What does PGP feel like? Is it just like cramps or much worse?

I feel it like cramps when walking!

@Claire it’s not even cramps. It’s like the bones in your hips and pelvic bones. It’s like they’re grinding and sore to move. So say like rolling in bed it feels like a massive effort as it’s stiff, sore and just hard. Honestly I swear I felt my vagina crack the other day 😂

Yeah mine is like a grinding of bones pain when I walk and roll over in bed

Ok so I definitely have had PGP the last few nights in bed it’s so painful at my hips. I am managing to move to the other side and it eventually goes away. Is there anything you can do/take for this type of pain?

@Claire it’s tricky. The first time I had it my doctor prescribed me pain killers, but it did nothing for me. Lots of pillows is key to help get comfy!
