Kidney stones during pregnancy
Has anybody had kidney stones during pregnancy and if so did they flare up or cause any complications to the pregnancy.
I got 2 months diagnosed after only what I can decrease be as worse pain than giving birth.They wasn't treated I was just sent away with pain medication which I can now not use if I have a episode again because I've found out I'm pregnant again and after reading online it seems to be a little more worrying than I thought if they are not treated which they are not.

Aghh yes I forgot about all the urine tests every midwife appointment. It's very scary I couldn't imagine feeling that pain whilst being heavily pregn7 thant did you get given any pain meds to help you through them few days. I'll speak to the midwife in depth about my concerns when I first go x
Also can they scan you to see if they are still there or growing or keep an eye on them without having x-rays? X

I had kidney stones a couple of years before pregnancy and then nothing from a scan and I don’t recall passing them. Just had the all clear from a scan. I then got a case of kidney stones at 29 weeks pregnant, had the pain then passed a couple of stones then nothing on a follow up scan. Your urine will be checked throughout pregnancy and any sign of discomfort or that feeling just go straight to dr xx
