Need to rant - Any advice appreciated!

Been in latent phase for over a week now, had 2 sweeps and the progress is so slow!! One day in absolute agony and the next mild pains, losing my mucus plus nearly every day! Only 2cm dilated and cervix length is less than 1cm long (apparently I'm lucky as I should have an easy birth) but I feel so deflated and fed up! I've had paracetamol, hot baths etc and just want him here now 😭😭

This is pretty much me too! Got a 3rd sweep booked in for Monday and if still nothing has happened will be induced on Friday. But I really, really don't want to be induced! I feel your pain! Hopefully not muxh longer to go!

I feel you on this!! I had my second sweep on Monday at 39+6, I had contractions all night from 10pm - 5am but not consistent enough to be established labour, had nothing Tuesday night, then they came back again last night but died off at midnight. I’m booked in for induction next Tuesday at 41 weeks but I’m contemplating declining it & trying 1 last sweep. It’s so frustrating as this is my 3rd! My daughter was overdue but came the same day as my sweep & my son was a couple of days overdue but came without any sweep! X

Have a look at the miles circuit. Side laying leg lat flows could really help. I did these for a few days and then went into labour.

This was me! Bubs is a week old now but I was like this for just over a week. Midwives explained that he could have been in an awkward position which kept stalling labour. I did the miles circuit, side stepping up the stairs and curb walking all to open my pelvis. Then when I went into labour officially he was here in just under 3 hours!

@Ellie could you share which video you possibly used please? X

@Charlotte hi Charlotte. I just used YouTube. I can’t remember exactly x

Thank you all for the advice, nice to know I'm not the only one! Booked in to be induced on Tuesday so I'm just going to try and be patient 😊
