I would try to ignore all of their comments if you can. I just had my first at 28 and am planning on #2 and maybe #3 in a few years. My sister had her first child at 27 and is now pregnant with her 4th at 42. My mom had her first at 24 and her 4th at 38. My neighbor just had her 6th at 43. Not sure if it’s actually true or not since I’ve never looked into it, but I’ve heard there are studies that show that women who have kids in their 30s and 40s actually live longer.
I had my daughter at 31 My mom had my youngest sister at 37 My mother in law had my husband at 38 2 of my close friends also had their youngest in their 30s
Im the first in my friend group to have a baby and I’m 32! Drs say things only start getting a bit tougher (on average - not everyone) after 35. You have time x
I miscarried at 30 and had my first at 31, only 3 weeks ago. I will definitely be trying for more in the future! I feel times have changed now. People no longer always have kids in early 20’s. Women are having a career first, then settling down, so later pregnancies are a lot more common nowadays xx
Fertility does reduce with age but everyone is different. It might or might not take you a little longer. You know your body can do it already. I had my first at 33 and second a week after turning 36. No issues. I know people who have got pregnant very easily in their late 30s. I personally don’t think that you need to worry if you’ve already had a child. And although I appreciate 8 months may have felt like a life time it’s within normal limits and doesn’t mean it will take longer than that if you were to try again. Block out the outside noise and when and if you are ready for another child then try again 💕
The average age where I grew up for your 1st child is 30 where I live as living near London is expensive. I had my first when I was nearly 30 and second at 38. I had an easy pregnancy and birth. I really don’t think it’s something you need to orfu about.
It’s becoming more common for people to have babies in their 30s. I had my first at 30 and my second I’ll be 33. 30s is not old 😂 if you want another kid and feel physically/mentally up for it. Then go for it.
Had my first at 29 after a year of TTC, and my second is due in June after 14 months of TTC. I’ll be 34 in Aug. I do have PCOS though so knew it would take me slightly longer.
I had my first at 19, second and third in my early 20s, baby no 4 who’s now coming up to 3 when I was 35, my 5th baby I had a week before Christmas at 38
I had my first at 30 ☺️ x
Finally had my rainbow baby at 38 🥳 if you are really worried you can pay to see how many eggs / follicles you have, but I think you’ve had one already, your body knows what it’s doing you’ll be fine! Defo after 35 is when it can start to drop, so I feel you’ve got plenty of time x
Im 27 my baby is 5 months and we’re planning to try for our second when I turn 30!! My mum had my little sister when she was 28 and my youngest sister when she was 36! I know younger mums are becoming a lot more common but it is still 30’s when most women decide to start a family!! Try not to put too much pressure on yourself lovely xx
From what I know fertility reduces in our 40’s not 30’s. The “biological clock” Is mentioned more for women in their 40’s than 30’s. I had my 3rd at 34. One shot wonder 😂 I was telling people we were trying for a boy and they were shocked when only 3-4w later I was telling people I was pregnant 😂 I’ve never been on any hormonal BC though, my body had nothing to get “rid of”, and semen is a foreign substance to my body so when he shot once, it took. Lol. SO many women are having babies in their 30’s. 40’s….. they still are but not so much. If you want a baby then TTC but not because people are telling you to, have it when you think the time for you is right.
I had my first at 33, I followed the health app on my phone actually not to get pregnant and the one time I forgot to check was the day I was ovulating and that’s when I conceived 😂

About to have my first at 39 x
Hello first time mom here. Just had my first child at 36. I had no problems conceiving at this age. My gyno told me women are actually having babies later in life. Just a a tip. Preeclampsia is a higher possibility at a late age, so take that baby aspirin. Planning on my next child as well. You got this girl!
I was 29 having my first and now 33 having baby number 2. Took 3 months to conceive first time, and 5 months this time (although I tracked for the final 2 months) so not much difference at all. I think it's quite common now to have babies a bit later, a lot of women want to establish a career first. Most other mums I know were late 20s to mid 30s when they had kids..
Medically, fertility drops exponentially after the age of 35. Still, I had my first child at 42 after a miscarriage at 41. More and more woman are having babies later due to career etc.
I’m 32 and expecting my first, my partner is also 42 if that helps for context! 🥰
I'm 30 and had my son at 28. I fell pregnant quite easily a few months ago but I had a MMC. I feel everyone is different. A lot of people I know now are having children in their late 30's and not having problems. Then there's people I know in their early 20's who haven't conceived for months/years. People are now having children later in life. A lot of my friends don't have children. But my parents and their friends all had 2/3 kids by 28. Xx
I got pregnant w/ my daughter when I was 34 & I wanna have 1 more My mother got pregnant w/ me when she was 32
I had my son at 31 and I'm currently pregnant and due in June and I'm now 35
Loads of women have very healthy children in their 40s. For most women in their early 30s, I wouldn’t even begin to overthink it. For most in their 30s there would be no added problems whatsoever!…. or rather, no more problems than average pregnancy at any age.
I had my first at 30, and was TTC for 5 months. Second due when I’m 34, also was TTC for 5 months
I had my first miscarriage at 26 and my first child was born when I was 27 and now just had my 2nd born and I’ll be 32 in a couple months! I had an iud for 4 years after my first born and convinced 3 months after removing it!🫣😬 I will say my 2 labor was harder lol
