Sleep advice

Hey, Hope you’re all ok! Looking for some advice on toddler sleep because I honestly feel like I’m at my wits end!!! My almost 3 year old has always been a really good sleeper, would settle on her own and sleep through unless she was unwell. For the last 2 or 3 months bedtimes we’ve had to sit in her room till she falls asleep, it can take anywhere from 30 mins to 2 hours sometimes for her to fall asleep, and then when she is asleep she’s up atleast twice in the night, first time we usually manage to settle her in her bed but the second time she gets out of her bed hysterically crying and ends up in our bed, it’s getting to the point where she’s just crying and crying we end up having to put tv on for her and can be watching tv for up to two hours in the night before she falls asleep. For a few nights recently she’s been saying that her ear hurts but doesn’t mention anything about it in the day, has no temp or no other symptoms other than is abit snotty so I’m wondering if she’s doing it to try and get into our bed? She will honestly scream until she gets what she wants. I’m currently trying to put her to bed and she’s just rolling around on her bedroom floor refusing to get into bed, I’m trying my hardest to stay calm and I’m trying everything I can but im at the end of my tether. Today I’ve made her a reward sticker chart for her room to try and get her to sleep and stay in her own bed but honestly I am at a loss. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you xx

Does she sleep with a night light? We went through a stage where my daughter started waking in the night and was unhappy. We found out that she’d started having dreams and it was scarring her to wake up in complete darkness. Being able to see her room and find her teddy again meant she could self soothe if she did wake in the night. That helped her feel safe again and she’s stopped waking in the night since

My lo has a lamp that we dim at night so there is some light, especially helpful for using the toilet at night. I also like to end night time routine by turning the light on, white noise machine and walking away with the door open. Usually, there is some crying but doesn’t last long.

Hi we went through laying next to my daughter until she fell asleep and had multiple wakes - ending in our bed. We now have 2 stories .. a tonie and I am able to walk away. Happy to share our gradual transition - she no longer comes to our bed either. Xx
