When did your baby sleep better?

He does 1 4 hour stretch from 7-11ish after a bath at night. Then the rest of the night and day he’s like clockwork every 2 hours feeding and he’s nearly 3 months

I wonder if this is something to do with the 6-8 week growth spurt/leap because my little boy has started doing this when he was sleeping for slightly longer stretches. I think my little boy is getting trapped wind after his first feed as well so it's waking up sooner but I can't seem to get it up. He just falls asleep after his last feed and only occasionally will burp. Hopefully it will pass soon 🤞🏽

Mine started to do this and at 3.5 months grew out. Like @Anna said probably just a growth spurt

@Anna have you tried gripe water for The wind you can’t get up? It may be a growth spurt but he’s 11 weeks and he’s done this for probably around 3/4 Weeks now so maybe it’s just him😂

@Lizzy did he/she grow out of it and sleeps longer now?

I haven't tried gripe water yet as I wasn't sure if that was just for burps? This seems to be the pumps he has when I get him up and down bicycle legs/pushing his legs up. How do you give it to babies if they breastfeed? Thank you! X

7.5 months started sleeping through the night

5m started getting better. 6m started sleeping through the night.

My boy slept best around this time. It got much worse since 😂 Obviously I hope it gets much better for you, but just offering some realism of what could happen

@Anna I’m not too sure how that would work, maybe try putting it into a teat if you happen to have one around? If not have you got a syringe?X

@Moon it can’t possibly get any worse than this 😂

I know… I certainly hope for you 😁

He goes back and forth. The most he gives me is 6 hours and then 4-5. The worst it’s been is every 2 hours he’s awake. He’s very tall for his age though (13th percentile) and I breastfeed so he definitely eats a lot and more often than I have noticed other babies his age do. I’ve heard that when they turn 4mo you can start sleep training and at around 6mo they actually start sleeping better because the solid foods keep them more full.

@Maria Elizabeth see mine isn’t breastfed and I’m unsure of How much breastfed babies take ect but all I do know Is he eats a lot too! 4-5oz every 2 hours but I Feel on demand so if he wants it I feed him! I’ll start sleep training at 4 months then probably I’ll have to look into it; thank you! I did wonder and hope lol that about solids aswel so fingers crossed xx
