Yep! Persistence 😂 he doesn’t use it as much now and doesn’t at daycare at all :)

Have you tried a muslin instead? My LO liked that and then decided his cot sheet was the way to go. He’s now almost 4 and although doesn’t use it for comfort, still wants it on his bed at night.
My brother got my daughter a jelly cat raccoon ( Roscoe) at Xmas when she was 10 months and from then on introduced at night. So once she had fallen asleep I tucked it under her arm and kept doing it every wake up etc . She’s now 14 months old and she has him every night and loves him to pieces . I still feed/ rock her to sleep first but she does reach out for him at times when I lay her down. 😂 just wish I could feed her and just put her down and she held him and falls asleep herself but I’m hoping that eventually we’ll get to that point .
Is that the riff raff? We tried that too with no luck!! I had 3 and slept with each of them rotating leaving one with my LO so it smelt like me - we also started with the hand holding and putting the comforter between us then slowly stepping back etc Took awhile!! Good luck 🤩
