Like others have said you won’t feel your cervix specifically dilating. You’ll feel period type pains to begin with and they’ll build to more intense feelings. Need the end the pressure builds around your bum and it feels super heavy down there and in your bum as baby’s head moves down the birth canal!
before labor? no you don’t feel it, at least i didn’t. i was already at 2cm before labor began. during active labor you don’t physically feel it dilating, once you get farther into it you can kinda feel yourself opening i guess? it’s hard to describe
You can feel Braxton hicks/period like cramps can mean your cervix is dilating
Your cervix thins (effacement) and then dilates to 10cm. And yes you feel it when you are in labor with contractions.
I am 34 weeks and I feel pressure where my cervix is... anyone else felt that?
You don’t really feel it, you can dilate before you’re even in Labour and not know! I was sat at 2cm for weeks 😅
