Hey there expert mammas… how did you know that labor was close? What symptoms or things did you experience before contractions started?

Went to work, got checked but no sweep at drs early afternoon, dinner, tried to go to sleep but then got 3 hours of non stop pooping, it was then I realized I was in labor. I'd say it was midnight when I told my husband, 530am when we got to the hospital and he was born before noon.
Feeling. I always said "he'd be born in January and not Feb like he was supposed to be, my Water would break in the car" my Feb 9th baby is my Jan 17th baby, my water broke as I got out of my car 1/16. The night before I was peeing a lot more than usual and huge globs of clear mucous. Joked with my husband 1/16 that we'd have a baby in the next few days. He told me I was wrong
Nesting. I put together the car seat weekend before he was born. Urgent need to wash baby clothes. I did natural with midwives and was almost diagnosed with preeclampsia so they wanted to get him out. May 1 & 2 I had a membrane sweep, dilated more each time. I was scheduled to get my labor braids done and I was having contractions towards the end. That’s when I knew he was coming.
I reorganized and dusted my entire book collection two days before, that little burst of energy was a sign for me. I had lots of cramping that would come in waves. I had a membrane sweep Monday morning and went into labor that night at 9:30pm, baby was born Wednesday at 7:30pm, I think my labor was so long because I hadn’t slept the night before going into labor and went in exhausted it wasn’t until I got the epidural that I had some rest and than could push. I went from 6cm to 10cm in less than an hour after getting the epidural.
