My stomach felt sore until a week or so after I’d finished them! Felt bruised almost, I’m 5 month pp now and there’s no pain at all xx
4 weeks PP and that skin is just really sensitive still, only had to do injections for 10 days
7 weeks PP from a c section my tummy is still sore and numb in some places. I had 10 days worth of injections once I was home ( 15 in total )
@Amy aww bless you tell me about it. One side is numb which it was from my first anyway no problem putting it in. But my other side it's so painful. It gives me anxiety when it comes to the evening near the time i have to take it. I've been on them 3 weeks and I'm taking 2 a day it's absolutely awful 😖
@Leona that's good to know. My stomach is so bruised anyway so I'd have thought that will be playing a part in the pain x
@Sophie that was lucky I wish I only had 10 days I think I've got to take 85 maybe for 6 weeks 2 a day 😭😭 I'm getting a bit sick of it now tbh with you x
@Kimberley I hate taking them they hurt so much now. But I'm gonna have to keep on at it. Only another 3 weeks to go and never again fingers crossed ahaha x
I was on blood thinners for the last 3months of pregnancy and my stomach got so bruised I ended up injecting in my thighs and hips. I had a C-section too and had tenderness afterwards, despite still injecting in my thighs/hips, so I think it's more to do with that. They're performed so regularly that we forget it's major surgery x
@Darienne oh no really. I think that's where I've been doing it more my hips than my stomach. I might try my actual stomach for the next 3 weeks. It must be cos I can't feel the right side of me now at the bottom. I know people don't realise how bad it is unless you've done it yourself. But we forget as well because we have a baby to look after. I'm 3 weeks pp and I feel so much better now. The first weeks the worst x
I’m on these at the moment from a severe postpartum haemorrhage. Some nights there’s absolutely no pain and some nights it’s instant as soon as I put the needle to my skin.x
