Silly Question but do hospitals provide towels?

Thinking about my hospital bag, do I pack a towel?

They do but they’re very small hand towel sized ones and not very soft at all … I took my own large dark towel last time and plan to this time too

I didn’t get one so glad I packed my own

I would pack your own one, I packed a dark towel x

Amazing thank you all xx

@Rosa it’s very hospital dependent, mine didn’t have them!

@Rosa yes England to be precise hence posted in this group.

@Rosa it’s funny isn’t it how everywhere is different! I guess they’ll all have them for when needed but won’t voluntarily hand them out and will expect you to bring your own when giving birth 🤷🏼‍♀️

Most hospitals will have towels, but all the positive birth podcasts and books suggest to bring things from your home that make you feel comfortable. So I’d say maybe pack a nice towel - the hospital ones are also washed at high temperatures and can feel a bit rough!

I've packed my own large one, they do provide them but very small and rough ! I've made sure I've packed a large one of my own this time x
