We are exactly the same and also woke up with him sleeping on his stomach this morning! He can’t roll from front to back so I kept moving him over in the night and he just kept going back to it! I think will just need to keep encouraging him to learn to get from front to back and then I can worry less lol x
i wouldn’t be as worried but one of the times i woke up he was face down🫠so i just turned his head to the side and left him on his front in the end
It's fine for them to sleep on their front of they get themselves into that position. The thinking is that if they're strong enough to roll and have the head/neck control to get them selves all the way over onto their front, then they can turn their head when needed. They usually wake up or start fussing when they're uncomfortable and want to turn back again.
If they're putting themselves there then it's fine x
We’ve got the same. She has rolled front to back in the day time a few times a while ago but then hasn’t done it again since. She has very good head control and can turn her head to the side etc on her front so I’ve just let her sleep on her tummy. She constantly rolls when you roll her back onto her back at night and everytime I wake up she’s on her front so unless I literally stayed up all night I have no way of stopping her sleeping on her belly 🤷🏼♀️
