Don't give up consistency is key. Rome wasn't built in a day neither will you. As women weight fluctuates alot. So don't weigh every day maybe try once a month instead. I understand how hard it is. I'm working on myself but I remind myself birth is a trauma your body takes years to recover from.
🫂 you still look beautiful 😍. It's so hard to lose weight after having a baby. Your hormones go crazy, there is a lot of stress, and for some of us that causes you to hold onto weight. I'm one of those people. The stress of having kids made my sister in law drop weight like crazy and she eats everything terrible and never exercises. I'm over here eating all healthy, watching my calories and exercising and dropping nothing. From past experience I know the less I focus on my weight the easier it is to see changes and actually loose it. I'm just trying to focus on being healthy instead. Also what helps me is to take progress photos and measurements verses just weighing myself. This is just a stage for your body and it will get better 💖
@Candice i was calorie counting but stopped last month. I just didn't have the time or the motivation.
@Danni ❤️😝 I never saw it as trauma that's definitely something for me to think about. I feel like giving up but I want to see results so bad I keep going.
I want to say you look beautiful before and after. I know how you feel. I got up to 320lbs my heaviest. I started taking compounded tirzepatide 4 weeks ago. I’m down to 304. I’m not saying you can’t do it without help but it wouldn’t hurt to try it out if it’s an option you can afford or get through insurance.
@Sarah thank you so much Sarah.
@Erica congratulations Erica! My insurance sucks Booty! I tried everything and they denied me. They would rather approve bariatric surgery and I REfused ! I don't have the money to afford the meds on my own.
@Asha you can do it don't give up just keep going!!! Im trying to motivate myself as well it's hard. But it takes years so truly little by little you'll get there.
@Danni ❤️😝 🫡💛💛💛
@Asha you can buy it online from Canada for the fraction of the cost. You do need a valid prescription
Try looking into getting your hormones checked- my body produces zero testosterone on its own and women still need a decent amount for everything to function properly. It made a HUGE difference in my mental health, sex drive and workouts. I'm a CPT & CNC, so if you want to just chat or message some time to see if there's anything you may be overlooking or I can help with, I'm here.
I second getting your hormones checked! And possibly doing a poop analysis like a GI map to find out if something weird is going on with your microbiome???
@Nikki that's the thing they won't give me one.
@Jessica i didn't know that. Isn't there a birth control with testosterone? Thank you !

@Lisa thank so much !
@Asha i had to go to a specialty clinic, as my ob-gyn wouldn't give me one either. I have to pay for it out of pocket, but I'd rather give up other things in order to feel great like I do now.
@Jessica ok !
I know you said you were calories counting and doing all the things, but what EXACTLY were you doing? What exercises for how long and how often? Exactly how many calories and what's the macro make up? What is your daily self care routine?
Same girl!
@Asha What if you got an accountability partner or made a financial investment in a gym program? That’s what helped me get rid of the COVID pounds. I just had to commit and stop fighting the process. Eventually you develop good habits and can do it without thinking.
I felt the same way after having my daughter. But after my son, I started focusing more on portion control and making time to walk regularly. That combination really helped me lose weight and feel better overall. You got this! Make sure you continue to be kind to yourself!
Try more Protain in your food choices and just keep walking and moving and count calories how much u need to take during the day.
Im in the same boat honestly. I was 280 before birth now I'm 310. I feel so unattractive. The only time I've been successful when it comes to loosing weight is calorie counting and hiring a personal trainer. Unfortunately I don't have an extra 350 to spare each month at the moment.
@Shay I see a nutritionist which has given me 2,000 calories a day. Increase protein and healthy fat. Which all i have been doing. As far a excersise i am outside everyday with my daughter i take her of to grandparents, I have yoga class on Thursday and I play pickle ball and soccer on weekends with my husband. I'm up a 6am bc I make my husband's food for work plus I'm potty training so it gives me a better start for my daughter to succeed during the day. There is no specific time for me outside of yoga that's an 1hr session.
@Selena no friends which is why I'm on the app. Hey hey 😁 and gym sounds cool but no baby sitter. I don't trust strangers with my kid and family charge to much so I do what I like at home or around the area.
@Toya thanks Toya 😊
@Mar I felt that 350$ all the way over here . Ik it's challenging, we are beautiful and someone said to me earlier we have to give our bodies time to heal, which made sense because birth is traumatic on the body and tbh I never thought of it that way until she mentioned it. Kids can also be stressful, and we worry as mothers, so that can cause hormone levels to rise or decrease and us not to sleep. Which sleep is essential for weight loss. We got this! We all do. Keep pushing toward our goals, making necessary changes, and asking for help or support when discouraged, and it'll be all goooooodddd 💛
With my first three when I was in my 20s I didn’t start to loose weight till they were over a year old. Wi5 this little one I haven’t yet and was fat when I had her. However be kind to yourself. All this exersize and healthy eating you are getting fitter snd healthier. Also make sure you’re getting enough calories. It sounds counter intuitive but if you’re doing excersize snd not getting enough calories you won’t loose weight. Also you can’t loose weight and gain muscle so perhaps your gaining muscle. Finally with excersize go by clothes fit not the scales won’t show it your waist band will though. Honestly a lb to 2 a week is a healthy loss so you wouldn’t notice for a while anyway
@Abs great advice think you so much! I wish you luck!

Are you able to talk to a dietician? Different things cause weight gain so sometimes u may need more of something and less of something so a specific diet can help. Also, maybe you need more high intensity workouts? I recently learned with my condition high intensity workouts and eating more protein will work for me so I’m getting into it slowly.
I’ve been 180-200lbs for about 10 years and I’ve safely lost probably about 30-40lbs during my pregnancy because I got a prenatal fitness trainer and I’ve been eating healthy but not dieting. I have learned SO MUCH so I’ll share what I think would work. First of all, I wish I would have dumped out my 401k even and paid for a trainer earlier because it has made such a wild difference (I go 3x week) but not always an option. The key is losing weight and maintaining weight loss is insanely different, and I was screwing that up the entire 10 years. I was dieting and eating less and doing cardio which is all wrong. Weight training is the absolute key combined with eating a ton of the right food and you can build muscle that burns so much more fat than you can with any cardio. Cardio is great for heart health so I walk 10-15k steps a day too, but not efficient for weight loss. I would strip down to the basics and do the following plan:
Food: for breakfast eat 2 eggs and berries + either whole grain toast with almond butter or avocado or oatmeal, for lunch and dinner eat 1 chicken breast, turkey burger or piece of salmon with 1/2 cup of brown rice, whole wheat pasta or quinoa and a half plate of veggies (kale, broccoli, spinach, stir fry, not just lettuce with low nutritional value), snacks have a protein shake with high quantity protein powder, 1tbs peanut or almond butter, spinach, chia or hemp seeds, blueberries, and almond milk or a Go Macro bar or whole wheat crackers/cheese/fruit. Keep protein high and don’t skip healthy fats. Exercise: weight train 3x per week and walk 10k steps/day and do something fun like yoga or a dance class if you can weekly. For weight training, look up exercises for overweight training beginners trying to build muscle, this is important so you don’t hurt yourself by doing too much too soon. Build weight every week or other week bc you need to tear muscle to build it. That is the key.
As you build muscle, your muscle will naturally burn fat and you will see more weight loss than you ever could with cardio. This will get you started and then you can start jogging or doing other cardio once you are lighter and it’s easier. Don’t even worry about that to start though. Also getting a smart scale is super helpful to track muscle gain vs fat loss. Feel free to message me if you have and questions. Weight loss is SO HARD. Once you figure out a few things though and do see some results it’s so exciting though, so you have a lot to look forward to : )
@Bella thanks Bella! Congratulations on your weight loss! Yes I'm seeing a nutritionist and I am working on my intense workouts . Something i want to do everyday.
@Juliet Thank you sooo much !!!
@Asha Thank you and ur already doing amazing don’t get discouraged, you look amazing and you will find something that works for you.
Have you tried calorie counting? I’ve had times were I am eating way under, thinking I’m eating enough. And as soon as I eat my calories the weight comes off, as well as drinking a lot of water. I worked out everyday last week, for 7 days straight and my scale did not move, definitely discouraging.
