Sleep regression??

I’m currently at a loss with my LG’s sleep. She used to sleep from the time we put her down until around 6-7am and stir occasionally for her dummy or if she had managed to get to close to the side of the next to me, and then it used to be a case of giving her the dummy back or moving her back to the other side of the next to me so she had room to turn back on her side and go back to sleep. However this past week she will sleep when she goes down at around 20:30 and then wake back up at around 00:00 WIDE EYED. I try cuddling her back to sleep as if I leave her in there she will just cry but it’s taking for ages to go back to sleep easilyover 30mins and she just starts trying to almost stretch her neck to look behind her and constantly moving. When she eventually falls back to sleep and I try to put her back down she’s wide awake again not matter how long I keep her in my arms for, meaning she ends up sleeping on me for the rest of the night. I can hardly get any sleep then and it’s draining me. She doesn’t like white noise or anything when she goes to sleep it’s got to be quiet which it is, we’ve got a dehumidifier on… feel like I’ve tried everything. Does this sound like a sleep regression??

Could have written this myself! Baby used to sleep 7-7 and would sometimes wakes for his dummy, but this past week he’s been waking at 11/12pm ish and sounds the exact same as yours! We’ve been giving him a bottle after an hour of rocking/shushing/trying to resettle in crib and he’s been draining the whole bottle, then after another 30 mins or so of rocking he does go back down. We’re thinking growth spurt combined with teething as his cheeks are bright burning red. Fingers crossed it’s over quickly for us 🤞🏼😭

@Jen so nice to know she’s not the only one, it’s just so draining because the time I end up going to sleep I only get around 1-2 hours if lucky of uninterrupted sleep. Let’s hope it will soon pass 🤞🏻

Yep, I’m in the same boat 🥲 my boy wakes at around 1am and then it can take up to 3 hours to get him to finally sleep.. he’ll fall asleep in my arms if I rock and cuddle him, but as soon as I transfer he’s awake again. We never used to be like this, he used to go down all by himself at 7pm and often wake at 3am, feed, then straight back down til 7am.. or even sleep the whole 12 hour stretch. Damn I miss that 😭 his naps are also near impossible some days.. I’m exhausted. Hopefully it all passes soon and we all get some sleep 🥲 x

@Cerys same, I tried to go to bed early but I struggle to get to sleep as every little noise he makes has me on edge thinking “is he waking up?!”, then after I feel so stressed I can’t properly sleep 🙈

@Jen I’m the exact same 😂

@Sophie let’s hope it will pass soon.. but I can’t see it🥹 x
