Rolling over is one of those milestones I feel will happen when your baby is ready to let it happen. My baby is rolling over completely and we hardly practiced tummy time...when we did it was only for like 5 minutes or until she got frustrated with it. It was just one day I noticed she was trying to roll over before getting changed she kept moving to the side more often than usual (she slept on her side already) and from there I would just lay her on the floor and roll her from her side to tummy and then onto her back and I would do it a few times so she got the gist of it. And then one day I rolled her onto her tummy and then she rolled back by herself. It wasn't until a couple weeks ago that she completely rolled over. We started on the couch and bed and then moved to the floor. Sometimes having an object in her face helped but I think it was just me doing the motions several times that really helped.
@Cheyenne he's 4 months on the 20th , my 2nd baby
I usually have a blanket tucked under one side, where they are uneven. They’ve usually rolled that way
My daughter four months and we are doing tummy time it just takes them time he's probably still to little to roll over mine isn't rolling over yet either just keep doing tummy time twice a day for like 2-5 minutes and if you have a tummy time mat you can put him on that as well while doing visual card's
My first born rolled over at 3months 1week stomach to back but my son is almost 4 months and hasn't yet but he tries. It will come eventually.
It will happen when it happens. My first daughter hated tummy time and didn’t roll over until 4-5 months but my almost 5m/o doesn’t mind tummy time and was rolling over front to back 3-4 months
Put toys in front of him so he has to reach for them. Helps him learn to shift his weight. Have him play with toys while he’s lying on his side. Shake a rattle behind his head so when he tries to look at it his weight causes him to roll. Roll him over before you pick him up so he gets used to the feeling.
Same with my baby boy. He is 4 months on 17th. I decided to creatively different to do tummy time. I pull out my phone and face time my mom. Ohh my baby loves his granny. He following phone wherever. His head lift up, his head turn left and right because he keey eye on facetime with granny. That's helped him get a little motive.
My girl only rolled a couple of times but mostly because she got really mad being on the tummy and had an attitude problem and pushed herself hard enough to turn herself
How many months is he and is this your first baby
