Sleeping on back

Girls I keep waking up on my back 😫 Even when I go to sleep wedged with my pregnancy pillow I wake up on my back. Im worrying about it more now I’m hitting the 20wks. I’m hoping as I get bigger I’ll automatically sleep more on my side? Any advice 🥰

Try not to worry about it too much. You’re right the bigger you get the harder you’ll find it to go on your back anyway. By the end of my pregnancy I could barely breath on my back😂. But up until that point I slept on my back. It’s okay as long as you turn back over when you notice xx

It’s ok to sleep on your back up to 26-28 weeks. After that go to sleep on your side and if you wake up on your back just flip over to the side. Pregnancy pillows can help with it xx

I asked the midwife and she said up until the third trimester it is ok. And my life has changed because I could NOT sleep on my sides - she also said you will know when you can no longer sleep on your back and not to worry! Of course I still try to sleep on sides as much as I can but one night or two on the back helps soooo much xx

I had absolutely no idea you couldn't sleep on your back 😂 this is my second baby! Wouldn't worry too much! I am 20 weeks next week and sometimes wake up on my front still

Don’t worry about it! If you wake up on your back just turn back to the side. Don’t let it bother you too much x

You can sleep on your back no problem until 28 weeks
