When did you get your planned c section date?

It was six weeks before I found out the date, had the c section 4 days before my due date

Got my date when I was 39+3, had my c section when I was 39+6

I had my date about 2 months before.

I will be 30 weeks Tuesday and having twins, I still don't have a date. I asked them to schedule it at 28 weeks and they said they wouldn't until later just in case something changes. They don't know it yet but they're going to be scheduling it at my 33 week growth scan whether they want to or not. I have to have someone watch my two year old and they're going to have to take off work, so I kinda need a date 😒 I'm having them between 37 & 38 weeks so that's only 4-5 weeks in advance.

@Cheyann 100% agree. This is the same for me I have 3 other kids need to arrange childcare, husbands time off etc. Im high risk so they said it would be before my due date, hoping get a date or at least the week of at my 28 week app. Congratulations on your twins! 🥰🥰

Mine needed alot of sorting as I had to be first on the list due to medical conditions i have. Hopefully they can do yours soon

Thank you 🥰 yeah, they told me I would have them within that week range since the beginning of my pregnancy because I'm high risk as well plus having twins, but at 28 weeks the only thing they could tell me is that they want to do it as close to 38 weeks as possible, no set date. They're also measuring the same as their brother was at this point and he was 10lbs at birth. I had a c section with him so I'm terrified they're also going to be big and with the previous c section Im at risk for uterine rupture. I also failed my first GD test this time and am taking the 3 hour on Tuesday, if I have it they may be even bigger than he was because I didn't have it with him. I really hope they schedule mine at 37 weeks exactly because I'm barely going to be getting around by then because if they're as big as their brother, they'll be around 8.5 lbs each at that point.

All hospitals do it differently. We got our date at 20 weeks

I've been booked since January for the week I turn 39 weeks due to being high risk... I'll find out at 36 weeks my date.

I ended up having a VBAC, but I had booked a scheduled c-section just in case, and they had given me that date at my 37 week appointment.

I got mine at 38 weeks for my section at 39+2

I had my date booked in at 14 weeks but it ended up earlier than the date that was booked it by a couple of weeks, due to complications in my pregnancy.

I got mine booked in at 14 weeks by the consultant and will be having my c section at 39 weeks
