@Ellie wow i’m sorry it’s gotten so bad! did you find there were any triggers or was it just completely random?
@Sarah just random. I was tested for GD, high blood pressure and a few other things at the hospital and at my Dr appts. The best guess was it could be from low blood sugar or always being on my feet.
I had this once a couple of weeks ago it was awful. But I've only had it once so hopefully that helps. I think it was hot and I didnt eat enough that day even though I had had breakfast etc
I’ve had this twice on the train. Super hot and then lightheaded/faint. Had to get off and be picked up. No idea why and only something I’ve had since being pregnant! Blood pressure/iron/sugar fine!
@Emily why is it always at the most inconvenient times as well 😭 never when you’re just sat at home comfortably!
I had similar last week - was absolutely fine one minute getting ready for work, then suddenly lost all my vision and began violently vomiting. Vision returned once did stopped vomiting and I felt completely fine again after about 15/20 minutes. Went to triage - purely because of the vision loss and was told I’m borderline preeclampsia. Not saying that’s what yours is or to worry you or anything, but listen to your body and if in doubt go and get seen x
@Louise I did think this myself, I am being monitored as I’ve had a few borderline BP readings but these have always been in clinics and my readings at home were normal. I did check almost straight after and it was fine, low if anything! I don’t think my vision went funny during this episode, just my hearing, but I don’t remember very clearly and will definitely go straight to triage if it happens again and there is anything going on with my vision. I hope everything goes okay with you and nothing comes of it! x
Aw fab! Glad to hear you’re being monitored 😊 Thankyou, I’ve been admitted once due to it, and now having BP profile taken every 3-4 days. So far I’m still borderline so hoping it stays that way 🤞🏻 xxx
I had this a few weeks ago and lasted for about 10 minutes but haven’t had it again thank god never had it before
Not the nausea, but the lightheadedness and the overheating. I'm on short-term disability because of it. It was happening frequently at work when I was supposed to be serving food and drinks to residents.
