C-section essentials?

I’m coming up to 30 weeks pregnant and want to know what everyone’s essentials were for a c-section, mostly to help with recovery but just anything you found helpful after, going to start getting stuff in for my hospital bag soon so anything you’d recommend pls let me know 😊🫶🏼

the best thing for me (which i still use and my son is almost 9 months) is a bedside trolley, it’s three tier and has wheels only about £15-£20 on amazon. i keep nappies, wipes, premade bottles of formula for during the night, bottles, dummies, spare sleepsuits, hair bobbles etc. when he was a newborn it was perfect especially because i was breastfeeding so i had nipple pads, breast pump, water, snacks, extra nursing bras. best thing ever.

I had an emergency c-section 8 weeks ago and was bought a pack of really high waisted cotton underwear 3 sizes bigger than my normal size to sit well above the cut by a family member afterwards in hospital - I thought they would be way too big for me but they were the most comfortable thing to wear, especially in a larger size whilst recovering and avoided any direct contact and discomfort to the cut! Hope this helps and wishing you all the best for the final weeks of your pregnancy and your c-section! 💕

High waisted knickers!

Paracetamol and ibuprofen , stock up now as the hospital doesn’t give you pain relief at home.
