I’m in the same boat, back tomorrow although it’s my second baby so is slightly easier this time. It’s such a hard transition but does get a bit easier after a few weeks. My main take aways from last time around are that while it’s hard for you and your baby to adapt to a new routine I found my daughter really thrives with some time in a different setting and it was good for her development (and continues to be now she’s 3.5). For work the most interesting thing I found was although it’s hard to get back into work mode, I suddenly had quite a different perspective to things coming back and in some ways as my priorities had shifted to be more focused on my little one, some of the things at work that would have bothered me previously no longer mattered as much. Also my multitasking skills had massively improved while I was out which was a bonus! 😅. Try to be kind to yourself and ease back in slowly. ☺️
I’m back next week and the ‘Sunday dread’ has now been with me constantly for 5 days. No advice but feeling it with you x
I’m back tomorrow too! No advice as such but wishing you lots of love and go easy on yourself ❤️ women are incredible to be so many different roles xxx
No tips as such, it’s a really hard time but I definitely found with my first that once I’d adjusted to it I really appreciated having adult company and space to use my brain again 😂 and also appreciated the time with my little one so much more x
