How they safeguard? Can parents access the building without a member of staff? (They should not) What they would do if someone came to collect your child that hadn’t been before? How does their collection system work? Policy on illnesses? More so you know your child isn’t going to be exposed constantly. How they support development? Planning and provision? Where nappy changes are taken place. How many children to an age group. Do they have free flow access to outdoors? Routine? I work in a nursery and these are things some of the things I’d like to know as a parent. X
Who is trained in the room safeguarding , childcare and first aid (first aiders how many in the building or room) you want at least 1 but preferably the majority of the room. What does a typical day look like in the room What types of activities does your child take part in
