I’m the same! 28 weeks and only really properly showing. I’m having a boy as well!
Your uterus is still quite small at this stage. I also don’t mean for this come across in any offensive way but if you carry some fat on your tummy (you mention you’re plus size) then you might not ever get the ‘round bump’ definition as it were. I had a chunk of fat on my tummy pre pregnancy and so never had the ‘perfect’ round bump! We all carry differently depending on genetics and body type!
The sex of your baby has nothing to do with how high or low you carry. Give it time, this is when most people start showing ♥️
Some people never get a bump. It depends on how much extra weight or how tight your abdominal muscles are. Extra weight or excessively tight abdominal muscles can contribute to later showing. Also I carried really high with my son. So much so that I could only wear sports bras the second and third trimester. Gender has nothing to do with it. I'm carrying low with my daughter
Not overweight but had a baby a year ago and my 20 week bump has me looking 6/7mo pregnant lol
Totally. I didn’t really show til about 28 weeks. If it’s your 1st pregnancy regardless of weight, you won’t show as much.
