@Loren honestly ive tried everything, sound machines, blackout curtains etc.he gets so overtired he’s hysterical!
Bless you. It's so hard when they just fight it. This tends to be when I report to a contact nap or feeding to sleep.. which may also not work 😢. I hope it gets better for you.
Naps have reduced in terms of frequency and lengths and he fights it everytime :(
Ours has only ever done piddly 20-30 min sleeps in her next to me during the day, so I have to do a long walk with her in the carrier or a contact nap everyday to save her ending up overtired. This means I have to do bits of housework while she’s in her swing or on her play mat. I feel bad I can’t be playing with her all the time but I can’t do it all! I try to sing and chat nonsense while I’m pottering. If she decides she doesn’t want to be put down on a day my house ends up a tip, too!
My babys naps have reduced hugely and we have to put effort in otherwise she wouldn't sleep. We now put her in the bedroom in her cot in the dark. Otherwise she won't sleep at all. Meaning we have to be very militant about being home for naps. It's tiring but I hope it's just a phase.
