Dealing with the same thing as far as the dry scalp! The most recent success I’ve had was doing a coconut oil mask. I just used a dropper to spread it on my scalp and let it sit for 1-2 hours before washing. So far that has helped with the itching and the flakiness is a little better.
If you’re taking hot showers that can be a large contributing factor to the dry/flaky scalp, just learned recently that hot water dehydrates the skin, so warm or cool showers can help to reduce that effect
Have you checked your thyroid levels? My hair started falling off a lot at 4 mo pp and my primary MD checked my thyroid which was low.
Get a good rebalancing shampoo! I’ve had this issue my whole life. My hair stylist recommended a biolage shampoo, and it’s been a total game changer.
i use Nizoral shampoo and conditioner. i have seborrheic dermatitis. my scalp is horrible and got worse after my first child
I take a supplement called Nutrafol the postpartum version which has helped slow my PP fall out. You can try coconut oil as a mask then washing for the scalp treatment. I’ve used all the pricy brands of shampoos/conditioners but honestly Head and Shoulders works wonders
