Constant screaming

My lg 5 months is usually the smiliest, happiest baby but this past month has been absolute hell for me and my partner. She is screaming and crying for no reason at all, by screaming and crying I mean it sounds like she’s being hurt. She’s not hungry, she has a clean nappy, she’s being entertained with toys, music, wiggles you name it, cuddled, walked we’ve even baths but absolutely nothing stops her. It can last from 15 minutes to HOURS and both me and my partner are reaching our breaking point. I’ve tried multiple times to get a gp appointment as she also has colic and I’m wondering if it’s that. They won’t give us an appointment because it’s just crying but it’s effecting all of us now. I’ve tried getting friends and family to help but they’re either busy or my daughter panics and starts frantically looking around for one of us. Has anyone else ever experienced something like this, and if so how long did it last because I can’t take another day of this, TIA xx

Following because I’m dealing with the same thing. My parents even offered to take my little guy for a couple of hours but then ended up calling me multiple times concerned something was bothering him so🫣

She’s getting to the age where she now realises she’s not physically a part of you. It’s rough and my 8 month old is the same at the moment. Teething and colic won’t be helping though x

Possible teething?? My 3 month old also non stops screams and he's been put on cows milk allergy formula.. Its almost like separation anxiety, he wont let anyone else calm him down apart from me. Hopefully she will calm down soon, I know its hard but you've got this! Just try and find something that works best for you. I hold mine facing me in my chest and do deep squats to calm him down x

If you want to talk pop me a message as I’ve struggled with it to and can relate x

My brother had sensory processing disorder and screamed all the time. I've also heard of babies screaming due to GI issues like celiac or CMPA or other health issues. Have you started solids yet or changed feeds at all? I hope you can get some answers soon 😭

@Finn we’ve not even started weaning yet as she’s not ready at all. We’ve not changed her milk either and she’s on kendamil organic which is the only one she doesn’t throw up with. Doctors said it’s not cmpa or allergies as I thought it was this too, she’s just so fussy!! She is teething but it’s not that that’s bothering her xx

My son’s colic kicked my ass until he was almost 10 months. Sending good vibes it will pass mama 💜🫶🏻
