Mucus Plug
I’m not sure how to tell if I lost or am losing my mucus plug. I’ve had on and off discharge my entire pregnancy. I’m 37 weeks tomorrow. I’ve had so many contractions this past weekend and I’m not sure if I’m going to have this baby sooner than “expected”. I’m so ready for him to be out of me😅 Did anyone else really know when you lost your plug?

With my first I lost little tiny bits and then the full thing when I had my induction at 37 + 4. With my current pregnancy, I lost it today, and it was very obvious when I wiped. It also had a slight pink tinged line/ a little bit of bloody show. I'm 36 weeks exactly today.
Mucus plug can regenerate itself, so losing it is not too big of a deal. If you lose it AND your water breaks, then that’s when you really need to be concerned. Hope that helps!

I had mucus coming out majority of my pregnancy, it was different from my normal white and watery discharge. It was green and thick and stickier. Then around 37 weeks I lost a huuuuge glob of it, almost like when you sneeze and it all comes out your nose when you’re really sick. No bloody show but I’ve yet to lose anymore so I def think it all pretty much came out cuz I’ve been dry since 😭
