Pregnancy after c-section
Has anyone gotten pregnant less than a year after a c-section?
I know they say to wait atleast 18 months in between but for older moms who may not have that time biologically to wait, I’m curious if anyone has had two babies via c-section within a closer amount of time and was it safe, how did it turn out?
I’ve heard some scary things but also some successful stories.

My SIL had 3 pregnancies within 3-4 years. Yes, she had 3 under 3 when the youngest was born. All 3 were C-section deliveries. Her last one was an emergency at 7 months due to an almost placental abruption. My SIL just turned 32.
I had a c-section with my daughter then 6 mos later got pregnant with my son. He was born 1 mo early unexpectedly due to concern for uterine rupture after measuring the uterus wall at the scar site and finding it was less than 1mm thick. I was lucky but would recommend to be cautious.
