Vbac
Has anyone here had a successful VBAC? I didn’t get a midwife, even though I applied for one online when I was 5 weeks pregnant. I also don’t plan to hire a doula. Do you think it’s possible to have a successful VBAC without a doula or midwife? I’m afraid of having another C-section because my recovery was so dreadful last time. By the way, I live in Calgary and really looking for some suggestions.

I had a very positive and successful vbac. If you have Facebook I recommend join in the group vbac community link there are so many positive vbac experiences on there
I did not have a VBAC however my friend had a successful VBAC. She delivered in hospital without any doula or midwife. She expressed her wishes to her ongyn, who agreed. We live in SK.

I had a repeat c-section, but my OB was extremely supportive of me having TOLAC/VBAC if that was what I wanted even though I have CPD. I think it really depends on your OB, but there are definitely doctors out there who will support your decision. I'm not in Alberta otherwise I would recommend my OB.
