Hey, also 35 weeks here. 4th baby. Braxton hicks can get very frequent and from my experience, it does not necessarily mean you will go into labor early. I have been having lots of Braxton hicks the last few weeks I'm not worried about going into labor anytime soon but every body is different.
@Aubrey thank you! I do plan on bringing up my concerns at my next appointment but i definitely wanted to hear other mothers opinions and experiences
Just start tracking/timing them! See if there’s a pattern. Do they stop when you lay down/shower/drink water? I’m having crazy Braxton hicks but there’s not a pattern to them.
@Danielle there’s definitely a pattern. It’ll happen when I’m sitting down or walking a lot. There’s times where it’s after I eat too
Same, I've been having Braxton hicks since 35 weeks. I'm going into 38th week this week and baby still hasn't dropped and when we did a check-up for dilation, it is still closed. May have to go all the way to 42 weeks, it's my 1st one and they say this is normal for 1st babies
Unfortunately I don’t believe there is a real way to predict the start of labor. I have heard of women being 6cm dilated for weeks leading up to labor beginning. 🤷🏼♀️ I’ve also heard of women being 0cm dilated, long, hard, non effaced cervix, and then they go into labor just a couple days later.
here for the comments:)
