@Nicky normally she’s the same when we’re out in the day in the pushchair she’ll sleep but yesterday no luck she’ll only go off for 10-20 mins then she’ll be wide awake again 🫣
Omg this is what I’m going through as well🥴 I’ve given him a bath tonight and he’s fast asleep. Or I do skin to skin
Yep we just turned 5 weeks today and our little girl started doing this yesterday and did the same again today. So I have a moses basket downstairs I normally keep in the lounge where she normally has her naps. But since she was refusing to drift off, I brought her in the moses basket with me into the kitchen. She could see me and I would rock her occasionally whilst I was doing jobs. In the end I think the white noise from me doing things got her to drift off. But this could have been a lucky coincidence. Having a drive around in the car usually makes our girl sleep, same for a walk in the park (although today that didn't work).
My 5 week old does the same some days. I have a toddler so don’t get much chance to try get her to sleep. Sometimes I do try and he will wake her up by being noisy and I’ll think well she must not be that tired if she’s waking up and wanting to stay up. If she was tired she would stay asleep during the noise. So I let her cat nap and stay up since that’s all she seems to need. Babies need to be tired enough to fall asleep and stay asleep and some days they are just less tired or something is going on with them developmentally causing them to be awake a little more. If she’s crying then it’s usually something like wind keeping her up so I use bicycle legs and gripe water x
My LG is 5 weeks today and she wouldn’t nap properly all day, and now won’t settle down after her night feed. She always settles back down usually… what’s happened!?!😅😩 I can see she’s tired but she keeps fighting it for some reason. Finally just got her off so fingers crossed 🤞🏼
My little one is the same he is 5 weeks today, I find going for a walk in the pushchair will help settle him to sleep for a little bit xx
