constantly pump to fully empty out your breast to signal your body to make more, and plenty of water and electrolytes. I heard milk thistle helps too so I am gonna try it an let you know
Hydrate.. pump/feed every 2-3 hours.. don't skip your middle of the night pump.. power pump once a day
Coconut water (sugar and electrolytes) you can mix this with juice if you want. I go 1/2 and 1/2 with a superfood blend from Aldi. And oatmeal! My favorite is in cookie form 😜 Breastfeeding takes a lot out of you- literally steals the nutrients it needs from your body to give to your baby so you can also drink milk to help you stay hydrated and replenish calcium in your body. Take a postnatal vitamin as well!
I drink the hydromom drinks. As well as around 80-120oz of water a day. Eat a light healthy snack every time you pump or breastfeed your child. I also recommend oatmeal cookies! Almonds, salmon, and yogurt also promote milk production and improve the quality of your milk. :) Instead of using the collectors, I use the hakaa every time I nurse so that I catch the let down plus some extra milk. It’s a good way to collect extra breastmilk without pumping.
Drink Electrolytes every day (like liquid IV) and eat lots of protein!! I drink high protein breakfast essential drinks in the morning.
