When did you switch your baby to a toddler bed? & Did it help?

My almost 1.5 year old hates sleeping in his crib now. He'll only be in there an hour at a time or sometimes doesn't let me put him to nap/sleep at all. I was thinking of getting him a toddler/Montessori bed. He sleeps well with my husband and I and I figured it would be easier. Anyone experience this?

I love my son in the same room and bed as us and he's almost 4 with another on the way

@Red 🌱 I love that. Congratulations!! Yea, we are the same. We don't mind at all him sleeping with us, just unsure how/if that will change with another baby on the way as well.

Feel free to message me, I can give you tips 😊

My boy hated his cot! We invested in a floor bed (double frame with double mattress on) for his room about 2 months ago when bubs was 10 months and it’s the best investment ever! I still sleep with him in it at the moment but he will (hopefully) eventually sleep on his own in it x

We cosleep and have been a double floor-bed since 6 months. Baby also sleeps alone on it sometimes :)

We bought a 5 in 1 crib. My son was climbing out of the crib at 9 months. And at that point we turn his crib into a toddler bed. By 2 we just decided to buy a new bed (queen size) montessori bed. In my opinion this option is great because daddy or me can sleep with him overnight. Last night I got trapped in his bed. Sheets for this sized bed at his age group is hard to find tho. I’m looking for bluey bedding in a queen.
