Have you gotten your period back? I got mine back at about 10.5 months postpartum and that can impact your milk production but it usually bounces back. Have you happened to noticed a drop during certain times of the month? Keep in mind breastmilk also changes the farther postpartum you get so unlike with formula where babies have to eat more to get more calories like 8 oz vs 4 or 6 oz, breastmilk actually increases in calories as your baby gets older, so they may be getting the calories they need with a smaller amount of milk. If your baby is a healthy weight you can also start adding in a few oz of water a day to keep him hydrated and help with digestion since he has started some solids. Generally speaking you would be okay to start transitioning to cows milk now - breast milk is best up to 12 mo but you could mix some cows milk with breastmilk to help with the change. For example for 1 week you can do 1 oz whole milk, 3 oz breastmilk, then the next week 1/2 and 1/2, anmo
I've just been pumping for a while, I'm down to 3x a day and my supply isn't keeping up now, I probably get 450ml max out now as opposed to the litre I was pumping a couple months ago so we supplement with frozen milk and some formula but he's 9 months now, has a big bottle in the morning and a big bottle before bed but his daytime intake is now very varied with food and water going in too and imagine his appetite will keep changing over the next few months at nursery before he turns 1. Your little one will be fine and probably doesn't need the quantity you think too! My friend with an 11 month old is talking about not sending her son with any extra breastmilk to nursery and he just does morning and night now too. I can't wait to quit, I'll probably drop to 2x a day when he's 10 months, once a day at 11 months and sporadically to stop once he's a year!
Im in the same boat lovely, I give her formula once a day for maybe 3-4days. When my milk stash is up, she takes breastmilk the whole day. She’s only having like 5 bottles 160ml each for the whole day and night
