Mat leave

Morning mummas! When is everyone going on mat leave? I'm 30+2 weeks and I feel like I'm already really struggling. I have so much stress at the moment (we need to move house, work isn't giving me smp so need to apply for allowance) and honestly I'm just so overwhelmed by everything! I'm a ftm and just feel so stressed and sore alllllll the time!

I’m going on mat leave at 34 weeks , I’m in the same boat and I need to apply for maternity leave allowance too so annoying I’m 28+1 and already so tired hopefully it goes fast😂x

My due date is the 17th and I've stupidly said the 11th 😂 of course I can change this if I want to I just want to get as much pay behind us before I go off but I'm so tired already 😂😪 It's easier said that done but please try not to stress, things always fall into place just got to look after yourself and little baby 😘

I’m not going until 38 weeks and I am low key regretting it 🤣 I work an office job so it’s not demanding but I do feel like a nap every single afternoon 🤪 I might end up taking holiday to bring it forward tbh!

Gonna go off 2 weeks before to spend as a family before second baby comes, don’t want to go too early as would prefer it the other side. Also having a planned section so should know rough date I’ll be having the baby x

Planning on 35+6 as wanted as much time as possible before going back. That includes two weeks holiday, so mat leave actually officially starts 37+6. Numbers are funny as my due date is Saturday.

I finish at 36 weeks. I loved my time off before I gave birth first time round so having longer this time 🤣

39+6 🤣 I can change it if needed, and it’ll obv start if I give birth earlier, but I work from home, it’ll be July so my work will have slowed down and I don’t need the mat leave before the baby is here.

I’m going at 37 weeks! I wish I could go sooner but I’m self employed and need to save what I can 😂

I’m due on the 16th and my last day at work is the 27th June. The first week off is annual leave so technically my Mat Leave starts on the 7th July. I found it difficult deciding when to finish work, this is my first pregnancy so I have no idea how I will feel as I get closer to the due date. Sorry to hear your feeling stressed

We have the same due date 😊! I'm a teacher and finishing on the 13th June. Gives me a couple of weeks off before baby #2 arrives.

I'm going at 38 weeks but have made my manager aware that it may be sooner if I run out of patience! 😂

I’m going at 37 weeks! Counting down the days, only 8 weeks left!!!

I’m taking annual leave for two weeks prior so at 38 weeks. Hopefully he’ll arrive on time as my maternity leave isn’t starting till he’s here haha xx

Going at 32 weeks, wanted to wait but struggling with SPD and just don't know how much longer I can keep going.

I’m with you mama, 30+4 and exhausted. I am getting mat leave though, and am able to use up my annual leave before for the year, so will be heading out at what will be 37 ish weeks. I am torn between hoping that he’ll come early so that I have more time with him, and hoping to have those 3 weeks as the last weeks of being Kate rather than mum and reading / video gaming etc as a final hurrah!
